Hey Everyone!!

We have had a pretty sweet week! Elder Otterstrom is awesome. He actually likes to eat good food so me and him have been buying fruit and eggs and making good food. I feel like a king. We usually make some eggs, ham and sausage with some cheese, its money. We also make this homemade ice cream usually once a week that is so easy and so good. It’s just cream and sweet condensed milk and then we put in cookies. It’s so good!!

We found our baptismal candidate Koko finally. He is never home, ever!!! He is actually sitting right next to me right at the computer cafe haha. I just had him add me on Facebook haha He seems to have a genuine desire to follow this path and be baptized, except he didn’t come to church when he promised me. That’s one thing about Cabo Verde is you can get some on to promise and swear on their life and they will say yes but still not do it. It’s frustrating.

We have been meeting with this girl named Dilza. She said she wants to learn more about our church. Apparently her mom doesn’t like us that much. Just as we gave her the invitation to pray about Joseph Smith, her mom was calling her. Apparently, her mom was drunk. Dilza also promised to go to church but we didn’t see her. That’s how it goes sometimes..

The computer cafe is going to close in a second, so we might go to another one and finish!
